Each week get a beautiful wooden box filled with $40 of local, sustainably grown produce. Each week you will receive fresh eggs raised on pasture, amazingly fresh and nutrient rich vegetables, and a bouquet of flowers. Special goodies like local honey, syrup, poems, herbs are also included throughout the season.

Cost is $40 per week plus $5 if home delivery selected

Full 20 week subscriptions (June -October) typically include fresh cool weather crops such as peas, salad greens, radishes, and spinach as well as green beans, spinach, cucumbers, squash, cabbage, collards, and onions. Flowers include lush early season blooms such as peonies, tulips, poppies, roses, corn cockle, and snapdragons and hot weather standards like zinnias, sunflowers, and daisies. As the summer progresses, boxes will begin to include vegetables that naturally take more time and heat to fruit and ripen such as tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, melons, corn, and winter squash. Flowers include hot weather standards like zinnias, sunflowers, and cosmos as well as long maturing dahlias and asters.

This box size contains generally enough vegetables for two adults .

Delivery is available in the following towns: Berlin, Branford, Durham, East Haddam, Glastonbury, Guilford, Haddam, Hamden, Killingworth, Madison, Meriden, Middlefield, Middletown, New Haven, North Branford, North Haven, Portland, and Wallingford.. (We currently do not deliver to other towns, but if we get at least 5 families interested we will put it on the list! We have 2 families interested in Cheshire.)

Vegetables and flowers are always pesticide free. We don’t package in plastic and use reusable packaging wherever possible.
