It’s winter again - the season for reflection and planning. Dominick and I, looking back on our inaugural season for the farm, remarked how successful it was on the whole. Despite crazy crazy weather we managed to deliver fresh beautiful boxes every week to every customer. We had a great team this summer and all worked together figuring out how we wanted to run this adventure. We got lots of great feedback from our customers.
We have already started dreaming up little tweaks for next season! We hope to farm some additional land and serve more people. It was really a joy to do this summer, and not nearly as stressful as I had imagined. Onward!
We have just celebrated our tenth week of delivery. 10 more to go! I was reflecting on the season so far and how well it has been going. Dominick’s vegetables are vibrant and delicious each week, Jesse’s flower arrangements are lovely and inspired. We spun and bottled the honey, what a complex floral taste! The chickens are producing eggs upon eggs and we harvested our first lamb .
Thank you to our shareholders who gave us a chance during our inaugural year and who keep our spirits buoyed with your comments! I’ll add many of them here soon!
Wow! We just got a front page story in the Middletown Press about our little venture. Thank you Middletown Press!
